Riccardo Luci Firenze organizes and conducts marbled paper courses at his workshop in Florence, where both adults and children can try their hand in a simple and fun way, restores ancient books and performs personalized gilding and engraving on leather objects. Legatoria Riccardo Luci is located in Florence in via del Parione 35A/R and is worth a visit even just to see Riccardo at work.
We Wandered into this very special shop and the owner invited us to watch him marble a sheet of paper. It was mesmerizing! This beautiful shop was gorgeous with a full variety of journals, paper, wallets and many more exquisite items that were all custom, handmade right there.
We will definitely return one day to take a workshop there!
so lovely! 4th gen paper maker invited us in to watch a demonstration of his marbling technique onto leather; spent time & care on everything and engaged our kids. embossed a name onto a beautiful leather bound notebook. i wish this shop was higher ranked on google – the map was sending me to his neighbour shop but i am glad we stopped here instead! highly recommended.

Probably one of the best shopping experiences I have ever had! I went in looking for a nice leather journal for my boyfriend and I found the perfect one, when the owner came up to me and told me he would embroider his initials into the name for free. I was so touched by the care he puts into his work, and he was so nice and let me walk around and answered all my questions. If you’re looking for a nice and thoughtful gift for a loved one please visit this lovely shop!
